Erica Ervin

Director of Operations

Erica Ervin is an accomplished operations and program leader with over 16 years experience advancing services for individuals with disabilities. She currently serves as Director of Operations at New Beginnings for Exceptional People in Sacramento, where she oversees supported living programs across multiple locations, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives excellence in client care through staff training, program development, and contract management.

Previously, Erica served as Program Director at OpenDoor Services, where she led behavior management, community integration, and employment programs, supervising a large team of managers and direct care staff while expanding enrollment through innovative outreach and program design. Her earlier career includes leadership roles with WorkReady Texas, where she developed and managed employment services for individuals with disabilities, and with Maximus, where she provided outreach and enrollment support services.

Dedicated to fostering independence, advocacy, and community connection, Erica brings expertise in compliance management, staff development, and partnership building. She holds certifications in CPR and First Aid, Pro-ACT, and Supported Employment. In addition to her professional work, she has been a long-time volunteer coach with Special Olympics, supporting athletes in basketball, softball, track and field, and volleyball since 2002.
