Arneisha Smith

Associate Director

Arneisha Smith is the Associate Director of Supported Living and Independent Living Services at New Beginnings for Exceptional People. In this role, she provides leadership and oversight to ensure high-quality, person-centered care for clients while supporting staff in their professional growth.

Arneisha holds a Master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology and a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Marriage and Family Therapy. She strives to embody a collaborative and supportive leadership style, focusing on communication, accountability, and system-building to enhance staff performance and client success.

Dedicated to fostering independence, inclusion, and dignity, Arneisha has worked closely with families, staff, and community partners to ensure individuals thrive in safe and supportive environments. Outside of her professional role, she values family life, and lifelong learning. She describes herself as easygoing, patient, and a natural problem solver who enjoys training her dog. Her personality combines thoughtfulness with lighthearted humor, a love of laughter, and an interest in anime.
